Anyone have any info on dealing with either of these leasing companies. I'm a soon to be furloughed freight dog. I'm looking at a couples of position that these compaines have in Japan. Any intel on the companies or flying in Japan will be greatly appreciated.

They are essentially the same company. I do not work for them but I am on a contract with PARC in Japan. The guys on the same contract that I am on but through Crew have had a few problems with them. The biggest complaint that I have herd is that they dont provide you with a breakdown of your pay. They just tell you how much you made and put that amount in your bank account.

As far as flying in Japan.....It will be different that anything you have done before in your career. The training is difficult and if you do things their way, you will pass. If you dont, then you wont. You have to be able to do things the Japanese way to be successful.

After training it is a wonderful job. I am here on the AJX contract and the pay and QOL are both significantly better than anything in the US.

Mins for the AJX and AJV contract for an FO are 3000 total, 1000 jet and a jet command type rating.

Actually, HACS/CREW does break down your pay specifically - like you're used to (assuming you're in the States). But I have heard some of the non-US guys complaining about the pay "layout" also. Otherwise, I've only heard positives about HACS. And of PARC also.

Like LostInAsia said, the new pay and QOL are definitely better than anything in the US - and if you decide to live in Japan, it's even a bigger frosting on the cake. BUT, you have to get through the training first...
