EXPAT1, I would qualify that the QAR measures everything that can be measured. There are a lot of things flying in China that drive me nuts, because they are unsafe, at least at my company. Things that include not flying assigned headings and speeds, because "ATC doesn't know what's right" (i see this especially in the approach environment.) Adjusting the FMS SIDs because the SID turn is based on altitude. If it can be measured, then the QAR measures and punishes accordingly. But if the QAR can not measure it, rules and regulations are merely suggestions. There is a reason that spacing requirements for ATC are incredibly restrictive.

First, you might be over qualified for China. You'll scare the instructors off with that kind of qualification. However, you do not list your PIC on typed planes. That is really all that matters for getting on in China.

Let me rephrase. You do not state your PIC time on type....

I listied my qualifications here more than a week ago, So far I have received nothing in my my PM inbox in terms of an offer of employment. As I mentioned last week I would give a follow up on my results.

One month ago I sent out a number of resumes. I got a few replies from some flight schools asking me to fill out their application but then never heard from them again. They didnt even reply to my follow up email a few days later asking if they received my application. Last week I sent 5 emails to skydiving places who recently had placed ads looking for pilots. NOT one even had the courtesy to even acknowledge receipt. Their emails were directly to a person and were small outfits. Its not like their secretary lost it .... I didn't expect a job but I thought at least 1 in 5 would respond saying "thank you but we've already found someone or we will keep you in mind or you aren't qualified etc. I came here (APF) asking for advice and all I get is people criticizing my grammar or questioning the validity of my licenses..

Welcome to the real world. Small "Mom and Pop" respond to only those they want to interview. Every operation that advertises is inundated with CVs from all walks of life. That said, they don't have the time to cater the fragile egos such as yours.

Your attitude, will as underlying as it may be, will surely come out during interviews you may be invited to participate. That said... Loose the tude dude and grow a set. Welcome to the real world.

I do not think it is ego to expect at least an acknowledgement of an application. It is basic courtesy. It is not hard to set up an automated reply that leaves the applicant at least knowing their application was received.

Wow!!!

People here are trying to help you with good ideas. Nobody here has the ability to offer you a job. I think your expectations are a little high. At your experience level it is going to take a lot of work to get a job in a jet. Writing on here is only going to help point you in the right direction. You still need to go out and do the legwork yourself.

Stop dreaming of instant first officer positions because you bought two type ratings. That's not how it works for most people, even if the schools that sold you the type ratings told you that.

JNS is right, lose the attitude or people here will stop offering advice.
