Copa Airlines- Offer to Interview
I recently got an offer to interview with Copa and they had list of documents for me to send to them.
I am at a regional and they need a stamp from FAA or the company on my logbook? Who shall I contact for this at my company? The Chief Pilot's office?

I'm pretty sure they won't accept a notarized logbook. Get your asst. Chief pilot to sign a statement on the last page saying "I certify that the flight times in this logbook match REGIONAL AIRLINE's records" then have him staple a business card there.

Perhaps in the ME it is accepted. Not accepted in other locations. Have gone thru the stamp process with 3 carriers overseas. Latest carrier, I made a stamp for them and had asst. Chief Pilot initial each stamped page.

I worked there before going back to UAL. You need to get your logbook stamped by the Panama Consulate. Plan on spending $20 a stamp and every piece of paper will need to me stamped, like birth certificate, college transcripts etc...for the interview your signature is fine. Also I had the former airline I worked at print out copies of my flight times with them and a letter from the Chief Pilot stating it was true san correct.
COPA can be fun if you are single.....don't plan on getting rich and only go if they are offering a Capt slot. I know they hired some RJ Capt'n right into the left seat of the 737.....be careful with the 250 hour wonder kids on the right seats.
Good luck.....they will burn you out quick.....lazy could care less attitude.
