In my opinion the interview was all about CRM/Safety and customer service, they are looking for a person who can be really flexible with the schedule and roll with the punches while sometimes having to deal with Ahole in the back professionally.

Spot on!
Safety first, customer service second and the ability to roll with a schedule that changes frequently when you are on your tour is what they are looking for.

Thanks!

I have updated information, adding .2 for a military conversion is acceptable. I’m sorry for any confusion.

Has anyone ever got hired below the 2500 TT hour requirement? I’m a few hundred short of the total time but have everything else. Didn’t know if it’s worth applying now or if they are firm on that requirement? Any other recommendations to do to get a call?

Have heard that the 2500tt is a hard requirement. I applied just below the 2500 and got the don’t meet the mins no thanks email. Once I hit 2500 reapplied and got the call.

So what’s the deal with FlexJet Lawsuit against NJASAP that went public in the latest AIN email?

——————————————-
Flexjet Sues NJASAP for ‘Intimidation’ in Decert Vote

Flexjet said its lawsuit against the NetJets Association of Shared Aircraft Pilots (NJASAP) and NetJets pilot Jeffrey Stein will move forward now that a Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Common Pleas judge has denied the defendants’ request to dismiss the case on a technicality.

The complaint alleges that the NetJets pilot union “and its operatives” sent hundreds of “vulgar, threatening, and malicious mailings” to the homes of Flexjet company managers and employees who spoke up in support of a May 2018 union decertification election. “In at least one instance, a recipient called a fire department and explosives experts in response to receiving a box full of plain white envelopes with no return address,” Flexjet said. Although they were sent anonymously, a postal investigation revealed the identity of the sender.

Flexjet’s lawsuit seeks damages for these “acts of menacing and intimidation.” The postcard mailings occurred during a 28-day voting period when Flexjet pilots were voting on whether to decertify their union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 1108. Ultimately, the pilots voted 318 to 220 to reject union representation.

NJASAP said it could not comment on pending legal action.

The deal is that your union is being sued by morons.

What kind of self pretentious idiot gets a letter with no return address and immediately assumes poison or explosives? Prolly some minion hoping to get ahead in the KR theater of the absurd.

Pretty hard argument to sue against NJASAP when Flex/Flops voted the union out anyway. There is no case for damages. NJASAP will probably settle because thats what they do best though.

Hmmmmmm. Let’s see. Last tour, 82 hours of duty, two in-flight diversions for a COMPLETELY different plan than originally briefed, a mid-tour airline AND rental car, and a whopping 11 hours of FDPP pay.

Yep. Not seeing an improvement AT ALL in quality of life and only making a few extra scheckels for my trouble.

We’ll see.

It's ok. Flyfalcons is just glad those pesky fatigue calls are gone and those lazy people calling out when tired have sucked it up.
