I just submitted my resume yesterday and am hoping for a call to interview soon! 780 hrs TT.

I'm kicking myself because I spelled a word incorrectly on my resume and only noticed it after I emailed it to them. Ugh! Hopefully it'll be overlooked!

PDK is full motion red bird with motion off. Once at PSM ground school sim evaluation is in red bird full motion with motion off as well. They don't try any tricks but be on your game. Brush up on obscure VOR type approaches Jepp if you can. Have a strong scan as well. Good people here want you to be successful but you got to put in the work.

I just submitted my resume on Tuesday morning and am anxiously awaiting to get called for an interview!

Unfortunately, I misspelled a simple word on my resume when listing a previous job title, and am now kicking myself. Im not sure whether to send a corrected and updated one after just three days or if I should wait two weeks? I have flown an additional 5 hrs since last update however.

Your thoughts? Thx!

785 TT, 603 PIC, 337 XC, 160 inst, 80 night, 25 complex, no CFI, ME, or turbine time.

I would send a corrected resume. Don't know if it matters but it is more professional.

I honestly would not sweat it too much, however like the last guy to respond to your comment, I would send a corrected version if it really bothers you. I applied to plane sense too, took them about two months to get back to me. They are currently accepting resumes for January 2018 classes. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I feel better knowing it took you two months, since I'm just waiting patiently for my phone to ring

I did indeed send in an updated resume three days later (Sep 15th). It will be two weeks on Tuesday since I sent them my initial resume, so I'm trying to figure out when to follow up again.

Fingers crossed, I'm very excited to be getting into the industry with the great timing!

What were your hours and cert/ratings if you don't mind me asking?

Alright guys.... I have a few questions. Some things were not exactly clear when I asked them during the interview. Maybe a few current Planesense Pilots can chime in. Keep in mind 950TT.

Had a great interview with them this week and received a call later in the week from the HR which I was not able to call back by the end of business. I am assuming it would be a job offer. But, to help my decision I have a few questions to make my decision. I have 950TT to keep in mind.

1. How many extra days can you pick up on a cycle? I am pretty motivated as working my butt off is just apart of me (no pun intended). Realistically I would be willing to pick up 3-4 days each cycle. Is there that much extra flying as I will be taking a pay cut moving with this company?

2. How is the insurance and about what do you pay? I know Planesense pays for 50% of whatever tier you pick. I am a single guy and need to pick up insurance as my current employer does not have it.

3. I want to work hard and would love to upgrade to Captain as soon as I can. It sounds like they are hurting for Captains so is there a possibility to upgrade around 1200 or is 1500 around the norm. I know it is merit based and how hard of a worker you are.

4. Looks like a great company to work for. The contract is a downer, but from what I read on here it is a good fit for me. I am used to long days flying solo cross country and want to put in the hard work.

-Your Mooney guy....

1. There is more overtime available for captains than FOs. It varies by the season. You can volunteer for up to 3 day chunks. It also varies by base with northeast getting the most work. You should be able to make plenty of extra bucks.

2. Can't comment on insurance since I have separate insurance, but I hear it is above average.

3. Upgrade is at 1500 due to 91K rules. If you are in good standing with the company, you should be able to upgrade at 1500 based on our current needs.

4. The contract only matters if you leave.

Toonces-

Thank you for the information. Back to each point.

1. So you can only ask volunteer up to 3 days each cycle. Or can you volunteer say 1 to 3 more after you have served 3 volunteer days? What seasons are more prone to OT?

2. I am sure the insurance is pretty decent from what I have read. Just wanted to get an idea on how much a single person is paying.

3. Alright, I understand that 91K is 1500.

4. Yes, if you're not going anywhere it isn't a big deal. I totally get why they have it and do not blame them. But, I am sure people get into the job and figure out it is not for them. Which is what I am trying to figure out to the best of my knowledge. It is easy to listen to and hear what the company has to offer. It's hard to judge if it is what you want. I could stick to what I'm doing now if I wanted to and be at the airlines in 4 months. But I want the unique flying. Plus, I think the PC-12 is super cool.
