1. The three days OT is an incentive to get additional availability on weekends. It has additional pay over regular OT. I believe you can extend your cycle up to 2 days. You can also volunteer for single day OT. Anyway, you can do as much OT as you want but they will ensure you have at least a total of 2 days off between regular cycles. You can usually count on getting a day of OT on the front or back side of a cycle if you want. Summer, spring, fall, and holidays are our busy season.

4. Hope you make the best decision for you. The PC-12 is pretty rad.

13 days is all you're allowed without a day off. You can sign up for as much OT of your off days as you'd like. Keep In mind you can only do 13 days.

As far as insurance goes, for my wife and I, i pay $302 a month for Full medical, dental, vision, ADD, ST and LTD. Divided in bi-monthly payments taken from your check.

Great! Thanks for the insights. How often do first officers work 13 days in a row though? I’m sure many have family’s and obligations that it’s unlikely. I am just looking if I can get 3 days extra each cycle It would benefit me greatly. Thanks again.

Is the 13 days a company thing? I haven't looked at those regs is a long time but I thought that was for scheduled 135. Also I think some work a 15/13 schedule for another company doing the same type of flying?

Had a great interview with them this week and received a call later in the week from the HR which I was not able to call back by the end of business. I am assuming it would be a job offer. But, to help my decision I have a few questions to make my decision. I have 950TT to keep in mind.

1. How many extra days can you pick up on a cycle? I am pretty motivated as working my butt off is just apart of me (no pun intended). Realistically I would be willing to pick up 3-4 days each cycle. Is there that much extra flying as I will be taking a pay cut moving with this company?

2. How is the insurance and about what do you pay? I know Planesense pays for 50% of whatever tier you pick. I am a single guy and need to pick up insurance as my current employer does not have it.

3. I want to work hard and would love to upgrade to Captain as soon as I can. It sounds like they are hurting for Captains so is there a possibility to upgrade around 1200 or is 1500 around the norm. I know it is merit based and how hard of a worker you are.

4. Looks like a great company to work for. The contract is a downer, but from what I read on here it is a good fit for me. I am used to long days flying solo cross country and want to put in the hard work.

-Your Mooney guy....
Regarding point 1- do a month or two on the line in the summer and you'll realize 3-4 days of OT are not feasible. I did it once and it screwed me up for almost an entire month.

Just saying it’s extremely tiring? Or not feasible in other ways?

Extremely tiring. I used to fly single pilot, no AP, 8+ hour Hobbs survey days and this is worse.

It will be two weeks tomorrow since I submitted my resume and I am planning to follow-up.

Should I do this by calling HR or email?

How long after applying are you guys getting called to interview?

Thanks

I got a call today as well and sent them my application last week also. Originally they didn't receive my application and I found out when I followed up with them with an email. I suggest you follow up via email.
