Planned to resume Jan 2021, but anything can change. Good luck.

Things are going. The latest word from HR (with their blessing to share) is to expect the "Apply" button to go live again sometime in December for late January class dates. Not accepting resumes at the present time. Subject to change at any moment - just like everything else in 2020.

Stay safe out there!

It looks like they are planning on expanding to CA and the rest of the West Coast. When this happens look for them to establish as Maintenance base as well as a Pilot base in NV.

Does this mean those that applied back in May 2020, will need to reapply again when the "apply" button goes live in December? Or will the application have remained on file?

Are PSM and PDK the only bases for part-time captains? If so, why?

There are Part time bases at bases other than PSM and PDK but they are on a 9 day on 19 off where PSM and PDK are 8 on and 20 off. The difference is because 98% of the time the outstations pilots have to airline to start and end their rotation whereas PSM only airlines 5% of the time and PDK about 20%. For the outstations if you do fly a PC12 on Day 0 (the 1st day of the 9 day rotation) you will get overtime pay.

I honestly do not know. I’ll ask next time I’m up in PSM and talk to the HR team.

I found out that all applications that were on file are still good and those pilots don’t have to submit another application when the window opens. In fact they may not open the application window for the next class at all but will just use the applications that they already have.

I know some folks also completed their webex interview and are awaiting their sim interview portion since hiring was suspended.
