Anyone know roughly how long it takes the chief pilot's office to review applications? I submitted an application and less than 24 hours later got an email saying that HR had forwarded the application to the chief pilot's office. I meet their minimums for a "competitive candidate" so was just curious. Thanks for any info!
It’s a small company that gets thousands of apps from low time pilots.

Reapplied at 1200 hours, got the interview, then the inperson interview, invited to ground a month later (I was over 1500 hours at this point), then a week of sim prep and then 4 days of sim and a checkride in the Sim.
Company has been great through this process. Really happy this worked out, I'm looking forward to flying here for a good long while.

Question regarding vacation time for new hires: Per the Planesense website, pilots are awarded two cycles of annual vacation after five years, or after upgrade to PC-12 PIC. Does that apply to pilots hired into the accelerated captain program? In other words, if you succesfully complete the captain upgrade evaluation, do you receive two weeks of vacation your first year?

You receive the 2 weeks vacation when you pass your PIC checkride.

How long is a CJO good for?
I may retire from non aviation career but have flown 135 part time during my career.
I would like to line up a flying job but can't start till October. PS seems like it would be a good start.
Not sure when it would be a good time to actually start sending out apps?
Any current employees that would be ok with a DM let me know?
Thx

Yes they are hiring but there is only one person that goes through the applications and from what I heard there are about 1000 applications that have to be processed.
