whats the story on training contracts with PS. I've got an interview coming up in october. I'm almost at 135 ifr min's so i'd expect to upgrade soon-ish. I'm planning on going to the regionals but I don't want to be tied down for 18 months or something on a bear of a contract.

18 month prorated $12,000 first officer training contract. They will come after you for the money if you leave early.

Well, Piedmont is hiring onto the Dash... Not sure if nearly $60K first year (in addition to a $20K retention bonus if you stay 1 year) would work for you:

yea, I was talking to several regional guys in LGA and BNA yesterday while jumpseating. I was looking for a better gig over the next 7 months, but I'm not going to sign up for that. Thanks for the heads up guys.

I know that they have cut people a 15% discount if they pay it in a lump sum.

Anyone get an interview call recently?

If I cant get a January class date it seems ill probably be out of the game for Planesense. Not sure its worth attempting to make a career out of the place when ill be close to regional time minimums.

I did a couple days ago. I opted to fly to BOS for an earlier interview date vs waiting for their PDK interview. It'll cost substantially more but I'm hoping to get in the earlier class if possible. Waiting for PDK would have practically been free but it'll be worth it if all goes well.

I was told they have 2 classes scheduled, 1/3 & (not too sure on this date) 2/14.

Have you received a call yet?

Nope, no call yet. So that's disheartening haha! Best of luck to you! Maybe i'll hear soon. It'll be a confidence booster at the very least.
