What is it like to fly for PlaneSense
Hi Guys. I am a 7200 hr, ATP MEL, 8 yrs Part 135 and 9 yrs Military. I am retired now and just got a call for an interview in Nov. I am too old for any Part 121 cockpit. I just wanted to find out what the flight profiles are like, duty hrs , sit and wait times, flying for these folks. I live 30 miles south of Atlanta.
Thanks for any input. Dave D

You'll fly 3-5 legs per day, sometimes more. Most legs are around an hour. Mostly owners (91k), some charter. You will occasionally get hotel, home, or airport standby. You will be gone most of the 8 days you are on duty. PDK is a popular location so you may get home more often than most. We have a handful of older folks with high time, they all seem to enjoy it. The only thing that will drag you down is the long days - with your experience I am sure you are used to it. Read through a couple pages to get my feel for the company, but overall, I enjoy it.

If all goes well, it looks like PDK would be my base. Could you please expand on the positives and negatives of that base. Much chance of returning to PDK due to day trips and typical destinations. Is the flying pretty much in the SE?
Thank you, David D
