JMack,
I trust you have been reading the 1108 site threads about the IBB as well as this fine site? Not saying Yes or No is the right answer, espeially since the entire product is not out yet, but the MEC leadership have been bending over backwards to anser Q's and calm fears about potential lost HBA's (which will not happen), the new 15/18 day flex schedules, ect. I see a lot of "No" from our senior group of pilots and the thing isn't even out yet...I do understand the hsitory with the company...but give it a chance, and a read, before we shotgun out the No's.

Nothing on the board and QandA will change the mindset of many. The no vote will come from a my belief that IBB should have never opened, and that so far I see and hear of a lot of relief for NJA Inc, (yes they need HBA's more then we do) and very little for the NJA membership. Just remember our MEC leader is a former FAB5 and POSTA supporter, and second in charge was a extender during the pledge days, bottom line, everyone must make up there own mind.

How many posts do I need to have before I have full APC benifits? I agree with LPCunity. Just reading through the proposed proposal (on my vacation, which is a waste of time)(and not spending much time on the union website, so slightly uninformed). The proposal looks awesome. It seems to me that a lot of concerns that have been raised by the membership e.g. sick days v. PTO will be addressed. Unless I am reading it wrong it feels to me like you don't need to participate in some of these programs if you don't want to. I also feel like some of the potential "no" votes are people a little wary of change. Hopefully nothing a couple of hanger meetings and lots of message board discussion can't fix. I too hate the O.C. (most of the time) unfortunately ANC isn't on the list, it's awesome up here!

Cheers.

Is the vote simply do you want these 100+ possible bases, or do you want to stick to that crummy 5 domicile system?? Or is there more to the vote.

I would like to here current NJA feelings on this. I have no idea why anyone would vote against the 100+ domiciles....

it is much much more than just the 100 airports. Its not that easy. There are just as many reasons to vote it down.

Its not easy, but before you make your choice wait for the final product. We have good leadership at 1108 and I don't think they would work so hard for something they think will be voted down.
