What don't you like about Netjets?

I agree the airlining part sucks. I was an RJ captain before NJA, but that doesn't mean I like riding in the back of an RJ like I seem to do quite a bit. It can also be frustrating when the only thing they use you for on your last day is the airline home, but they don't get you home until late that night- I know it is part of the job, but it still sucks. I'd rather do some passenger legs and at least accomplish something if I'm going to get home so late anyway.
I don't like that I can't jumpseat like I could at the airlines. I don't particularly like not knowing where I will end up each day and for how long until I'm really there and they have really released me. I don't really like loading and unloading the bags. I don't really like being the flight attendant before I hop up front to fly. I don't really like cleaning the airplane. I don't like that I will probably never have a schedule better than 7 and 7. I don't like it when I get stuck in at an airport with no good hotels around (though even the crappy hotels we stay at are better than the majority of the hotels I stayed at at with the regionals). I don't like it when scheduling decides that after a bunch of late starts that it is a good idea to swap around mid tour to early starts (at least we can call in fatigued any time). There are probably more things I don't like, but I can't think of them now. I just know that overall the quality of the job far outweighs the parts of it I don't like and I have no problem spending the rest of my career living with that here at NJA.

They will NEVER drop the ball and forget to get you TO work. Getting home, that's another story... Seriously, never had major problems. You do need to understand that getting you home is not the schedulers top priority, so you might not receive your getting home info as quickly as you'd like to...

Have you tried flying lately as a non-airline employee traveling on a one-way ticket purchased at the last minute? It's not the most pleasant way to travel by air nowadays! Since TSA and NetJets can't talk to each other, you company bought tickets always end up with the magical S's!
