Why does NJ want it via regular mail?? what the hell is wrong with priority? I guess I'm missing something here.

I hope you get that straightned out.

cheers

Well my tracking number is showing that they left a notice. But I highly doubt that someone will go and pick it up. Oh well, I 'll just wait for it to be returned and then send it back out via snail mail.

UPS'd my app 2 weeks ago. Tracking shows that it arrived and they signed for it.

Man I hope they get it. I wonder how long it will take before USPS sends it back.

My guess would be that it is the first part of the interview...Being able to read details and follow directions. If a person misses a small detail on an application they have had for several days, they are likely to miss small details in a 15 page brief sheet or BB screen recieved :30 min before a trip.

Has anyone who mailed it "other" than USPS gotten a interview call?

You make a valid point, and that might be what's going on. But if I send it via fedex, ups, or priority, I'm trying to get a point across- I'm very interested in this company, and I will pay double just to get my resume/app there ASAP. Who knows what they're looking for, its a buyers' market right now.

That is what I was thinking.

I FDX'd my app and it was received Jan 30. I haven't heard anything yet but I emailed Derinda last week and she said to follow up in a week. I'll give her another week and check. I'm not insider (obviously) but NJA doesn't seem like the type of place to "test" the applicants. That seems like and "airline" type thing and one of the great things about the company that I like is that they aren't "airline" people.

Well as of today the tracking number is still showing that an attempt to drop off was made, but it was not received. Maybe it had to do that it was certified mail? I think I am going to retype the whole thing again and snail mail it. I don't want to wait for USPS to return it to me, which I have no clue how long they will let it sit there before they mail it back to me.

on a slightly different subject...
the application only leaves room for 4 jobs you've had in the past ten years. did you just print out an extra employment history page from the application for the extra jobs, or type out the info on a blank sheet of paper?

thanks
