CS seems to be VERY people oriented. Customer Service seems extremely important. With that being said, I am certain attitude is just as important for them. They don't appear to want to be the biggest, they appear to want to be the best. I have read they have plenty of applications. They could start hiring alot but they don't. To be the best, you have to have the kind of people working for you that will allow you to reach your goals. Hard working, professional, sincere and proficient are just a couple adjectives that seem to fit into the CS employee character. That company seems to be different from the others in a good way. Just my observations from my own personnel research.
Best of luck to you Learflyer. Hang in there and keep a good attitude, I am sure your day will come.

Learflyer,
I could write alot on what I think is different between CS and other fractionals but I won't. I just watch and listen. It is apparant to me. They are different from the other fractionals that fly into our airport.
I hope everything works out for you.

good post 9999. What they are trying to accomplish is one thing, what the owners want is another. There are some owners that want to be left alone! Most of them just want to get where they are going, and not play happy time. This is just my experience. The ones that LOVE all that extra concierge stuff are the passengers that are riding for free on the jet, and are using the shares of the actual owners. If you rush to much, and break something that they own, that could lead to trouble. Martha Stewart is like that. One time she wrestled one of her paintings away from me, as I was trying to give "customer service" to her by unloading her stuff for her! A certain rock star lead singer told me "if you don't get your a$$ up there to the cockpit, and stop trying to serve me, i'll report you!"

So, they can sit in the FBO and wait better than the other fracs? Ask for coffee Ice papers better than anyone else? What else goes on in the fbo's? We all share the same challenges on the road.

With so many apps. CS can be very selective. With only 400+ pilots they are not trying to be the biggest on the block they are looking for quality. Just remember they are only seeing a snapshot of you. Resume, 2 phone interviews and then a face to face. You can tell a lot from someone from how their resume looks and then talking with them on the phone. Experience seems pretty big with them. Looking at aviationinterviews most have 3-6K of hours and plently of PIC. Good luck to all and hope this industry turns around soon for everyones sake.

I'm curious,
You guys that are getting calls.... I put my resume in online back in February and I update it every couple weeks. I haven't heard so much as a peep. I got an automated 'we got your app' email 2 seconds after I finished and that was it. Do the online apps just sit there idle? If you try to re-apply it tells you that you've already applied etc.
Just wondering if there's something to do other than wait... 6 months is a long time for nothing. Not even a 'thanks but no-thanks'. Is that normal?
