Anyone one out there work or have any intel on CS. I have just put an app in with them as I saw they Domicile out of MCO. Seems like they have a pretty good pay scale, just wondering about QOL. Also, how is the interview process and does anyone have any gouge on weather they are actually hiring or what is necessary to get in with them.

Thanks

A ya or nay on the CS interview depends on weather or not you know your whether
We work a set schedule less than 6 months per year, no communiting, near new airplanes, and a fun group to work with.
Currently the company is having better than expected luck retiring the CJ1 and Bravo fleets. This has created an over staffed situation with little hiring. Maybe only 20 this year.
If you want the job bug them until they offer you an interview.
If you do receive a call from HR think customer service B4 your flying skills.

GOOD LUCK

In other words stay in touch. Update your resume often. Email them a quick thank you if they respond. Send an email if they don't respond asking if they have received the application/resume update.
They plan to hire 20 for the rest of 08. With hundred off apps on file, many with internal recs, you have to stand out. Be polite in your emails and phone calls and hope hiring picks up down the road.

I interviewed with CS a couple weeks ago...blew part of the interview..totally my fault. Anyway...

They said they were looking to hire into a pool...about 20, no more than 30 folks. No estimate as to when they would drain it, only that it depended on future sales. The impression I got was sales were expected to be s-l-o-w for the near future.

Seems like a smart company with good folks. Since I'm mil/121 background they spent much effort trying to talk me out of it - "you won't like the lifestyle", yada yada yada, the the culture there seemed really good.

Good Luck!

Talked to Greg in recruiting. Now requiring 500 jet turbine PIC due to the "recent influx of applications." Funny thing is, I spent 6 yrs at Flight Options,(as sic) and I'm not even qualified! I was one of the original Raytheon Travel Air guys who came over in the merger. I was one of the pilots that lost my seat, and a whole year of seniority. So, that's How I'm still shy of 500 PIC. this industry fo' sho' sucks. I'm sick of trying to get hired these days. Oh well, back to my cubicle and $100,000 job.

OK .. Trying to keep this thread going.. I'd like to see some of the CitationShares pilot types post some info about CS. Too many NJ threads. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic now that I'm in the pool. After all the NJ threads, and Yes, NetJets is a great company, but, I'm pretty sure that I have a pretty good future where I'm at now.. Comments???

Yeah it's very stupid they just increased their requirements to 500 jet PIC, eliminated some quality candidates...
