ImEbee I'm glad you have an extra $40 a year. I'd love to be able to afford to take part in AOPA, NAFI, and EAA and help promote GA, but I can't afford to right now and if I stay in this profession never will be able to. I'm not threatened by the ads I talk about, but rather ticked off that they think a real CFI could even afford to buy any coverage. The ads state that we could lose everything, so we are left with the choice of eat this month or buy their policy? It is a slap in the face to the hard working CFI. I have given my services away to deserving candidates in Civil Air Patrol programs, High School ROTC students etc. Even had one get into the Air Force Academy. I still need some support out there though. But don't worry EmEbee because I'm leaving for a more lucrative guitar teaching job at $40 an hour. I don't think I need string insurance or legal coverage there.
