Just spoke to a guy at my local fbo/flight school... he just got hired for EMB-135, JetsuiteX based in BUR with 300TT. He was working for the company previously as a concierge. I believe he did mention the two year contract as well. Also said that the schedule was 8 on, 6 off..

But your home every night though I’m assuming.

Default Anyone here who can give me a timeline?

What is the general timeline from the interview to the class date? Assuming I get the job😂. I already have a join date from SkyWest for end May and expect to interview with Jetsuitex Mid April. SkyWest would most probably send me to Atlanta post Training but I just got married and I am based out of LA. I would really like to stay in LA with my wife if I can!

Huge difference between Skywest and JetSuite. Like comparing apples to oranges. If you want to go to the Legacy Airlines some day, Skywest might be the better choice...

I totally understand your valid point, I am just looking at building some Jet time right now (although if instructing paid better, I would love to keep doing that for another year) and have some kind of family life for the next couple of years, then move on to regionals if 135 ops don't (no pun intended) suite me.

There is ZERO future at any 135. Skip that altogether and get to SkyWest. Suck it up for a few years and then reap the rewards down the road. Delta loves SKW for some reason.

Exactly!!! I am sure JetsuiteX works for some people. Go to Skywest and bid back to Cali when able... All of the legacies seem to love Skywest and they offer great equipment and a wide variety of bases/experiences....

Looking for updated info on JetSuite X. Recently heard a rumor they now have CASS is that correct?

Would love to speak with any current JSX drivers in depth over PM.

CASS is in effect and the company headquarters is moving to Dallas in June. The new investment money from Qatar is still in the air on where it’s going. But look for more planes, new routes and continued movement. Jetsuite is not a career spot, but a good place to hang your hat, especially for the low time guys and gals looking to break into the jet world.

Yeah jetsuite is for the missfits right now, they even have a guy who got fired from Virgin America but was somehow hireable for them!
