Ha, I would love to know how he got fired from VX.

Thanks for the info guys.

I see the guarantee on the X side is 14 days a month - how easy is it to bid over and get awarded more? Is 18 days a month feasible as a junior FO?

Also, a buddy of mine sent over a hiring pamphlet from a few months back and it says $30,000 signing bonus on it. I've been unable to find any other reference to this anywhere so I assume it's old or only for those with certain experience. There is not a hiring bonus for a non-ATP FO on the X side, right?

Thats a bold statement to make for an 135 that just received a large investment, now has the backing of B6, and has 100 jets in the plans. A statement like that has absolutely zero value up against those facts.

And all those things haven't changed the pay scale 1 cent. From a pilot standpoint you would be a fool to make a career of Jetsuite. How's your retirement? Lets see the pay scales.

I worked for another 135/91k that had the backing of Berkshire Hathaway, spanned three continents, and had over 1,000 airplanes. My 'bold' statement comes with a lot of experience.

I'd be a fool to make a career out of a place where my quality of life is amazing and I live right down the street from base?

It's 121 or bust nowadays. God forbid someone stay at a place like JetSuite, XoJet, or any other non-121 while saving and investing for the future and doing what's best for them and their families. We know that theoretically you'll make millions more at a 121 mainline carrier, but that's based on not getting furloughed, keeping one wife, and other smart moves.

Can you pay your mortgage, and all the other bills typical adults have, have the QOL you want on your time off, and build the retirement you need for when you retire there?

I know how much JS pilots make and I know how much they work a month. If you think you’ve reached the pinnacle you haven’t been paying attention.
