Default Recent NJ New Hires

Hello and congrats to all of you that have a class date scheduled or new jobs. I have a interview scheduled for the end of Feb and I was wondering which aircraft you were given a choice (if any) for training. I expect that the Excel is up there with the deliveries scheduled, but I was just wondering if there was anything else that they were hiring into.

Thanks

Expect anything other than the Falcon 2000EZ or the BBJ. It's all luck of the draw and as FOs keep upgrading and coming out of every airplane FO seat to do it, it opens up seats everywhere. There might be only one airplane offered to an entire interview group, but there is usually at least 2 or more offered. Good luck at the interview with no way to really know what they will be.

Sounds like we are in the same situation. I live in N Ky and work for Comair. I assume you do? Anyway we will have to get in touch. For some reason I am unable to PM on this webboard, however my username is the same on FI.

Hey Pin,
The process seems to be speeding up at the current moment. It does seem to be very fluid. I know some guys waited months for the app to arrive. I waited about one week to receive the app.
Then emailed accepted app in about 2 weeks.
Finally 2 months later interview invite.

Default It is quicker.

It took less than two weeks for me to get my application, so I should be getting my interview pretty soon.

As quoted in Air INC's magazine, Derinda McKinstry says, "From the time they get the application back to us, hoefully we can grant them as interview within 30-45 days. It also depends on where we are in the the hiring. We try to give 30-days notice to allow the new hire a proper transition time so they can give notice if they're working."

My app was sent to me within 2 weeks as well. The resumes and cover letters are screened as well, according to Derinda, prior to sending out the app package. The stuff in the app package is then QCed before an invite is sent out. This was what was told to me in Dallas. She also briefed 250 pilots to be hired this year.

RCA and Shallow - what domiciles did you list as number 1? I am taking the advice of previous poster and listed LA as my top pick.
