Special dividends are rolling in, very tax efficient, why ruin a good old fashioned wall street molestation? The IPO will happen, don’t hold your breath. After all the punishment management has doled out, there are enough useful idiots to make sure no one at the GO Misses a single YACHT PAYMENT.... Btw can’t wait to come to work on day one of the east gates in DEN....

Just out of curiosity, why complain about the east gates? More gates with less cost equals more money. Which equals more leverage for us. IMO make all the gates hardstands. At least that way we don't have to wait for jetway drivers and the ramp can just push it up.

You have apparently never been to TTN and seen the ground crew try to push the ramp into place on the ice.

1) More $$ That will PASS THROUGH directly to Indiscum 2) ask how many hours the ramp closes due to lightening. 3) heavy snow will cripple handstand movement 4) ramp surfaces are slick in rain, snow etc. Moms carrying infants in thunderstorms just love them! 5) wheel chairs will clog up the works. 6) you forgot the dreamy 30 min turn time plan, when you gonna eat? I can only imagine the a/c damage to come. That’s all I can think of with a raging hangover and a strange aftertaste of cheap all-inclusive rum....ymmv

Yes, this. Not to mention how filthy the interior gets with 180 pairs of salt covered shoes stampeding onto the plane. It's a very bad idea.

You ever seen a wheelchair being pushed up or down a ramp covered in snow and ice? I have. It was sketchy to say the least.

I heard that we were not giving up our jetway gates, that the east gates would be used for growth, overflow, and RONs. Have no idea if this info is valid. Anybody corroborate?

The city wants to increase the number of international flights to DEN, and the int'l gates are the ones we lease, hence the pressure to push us off. More int'l flights are good and all but I hope to never have to use those ultra low class gates.
