Great news.

But 2018? I hope that's an error.

"The move would allow pilots and flight attendants to begin and end their trips at the new crew base by the end of 2018, Oliver said."

I'm hoping the 2018 is inaccurate too. Either way, it's the most solid thing we've seen for a domicile most everyone has been expecting for quite a while now.

A 1.5 year notice for the opening of a crew base? I don't think so. If a vacancy publishes in the next few days it will have base transfer and upgrade effective dates for August. That would be notifying us at the absolute last moment, and that would be in line with the style of this scumbag management group.

Any announcement in Comply yet? Odd we find out about our new base in a news article .

etflies 05-04-2017 11:35 AM

There's something on myfrontier that more or less parrots the article posted, but the date is left out. I can't update comply at the moment so I'm not sure about that yet.

Oh my! I have spoken too soon. A very detailed memo from Jimmy on Comply. Loads of information, see for yourselves.

Looking at the new city pairs and scheduled times for Las Vegas, It seems like they could have quite a few out and backs / 1 day trips.

LAS to DSM
LAS to CID
LAS to MSN
LAS to MEM
LAs to BIS
LAS to IND
LAS to FSD - all are between 6-8 hours block

Still skeptical. Their minds may change in the next four minutes.
