Isn't Frontier still working under a 2007 bankruptcy contract? All of the legacies have had several rounds of raises in the past few years. Nobody is saying Frontier isn't behind, but maybe a little bit of history would put things into perspective:
In 2010, Narrowbody captain rates topped out at:
American: $166 (737)
US East: $125 (A320)
US West: $142 (A320)
United: $137 (A320)
Frontier: $156 (A319)

I read a lot of the threads on here. I just commented when someone got pompous and said you were responsible for UA and AA changing their business model.
I hope you guys get a good contract. You deserve it and it's better for all pilot groups.

1. Even UA is subject to market pressures, however slight they may be, whether they come from DL, or F9.
2. You caught me in one of those bored/sarcastic moods. Snarky comments often ensue.
3. It's no secret that we're the wage anchor currently in the industry, so my snark was mainly to demonstrate that the 287th reminder of that fact is quite unnecessary. We're working our *sses off to fix that fact. As you say, that will make it better for everyone.

Bragging about making more than United back then (which I've seen more than one pilot do) is like bragging how your team won the game last night because the other team's star players all broke their legs at halftime, when they had been ahead.
Or, in simpler terms, bragging about being paid higher than someone who took concessions is stupid and terribly misguided.

While it's important not to forget history, this is such a weak argument. Unless I'm mistaken, the ONLY reason F9 is the 2nd to top wage on that list is because all the others had taken concessions.

I've heard we'll be using the remote pad gates down at the end of A where Great Lakes parks. Just like TTN, we'll be boarding an Airbus with airstairs if that rumor is true.

I am really over comparing our old rates to crap united, delta, aa, airways etc rates. Clearly we are working on a well deserved contract. Our rates have minimal impact if any on ticket pricing. Trolls that are saying otherwise need to move on
