There is very little we can do at this stage to help our cause but there’s a lot we can do to hurt it. We’ve played by the rules for 2 years now. Why jeopardize our efforts before we know the outcome.

Who says the NMB has to give an answer? Seriously? I think if they were going to let this go our way they’d have done something by now.

I have to agree with this. There has been a lot of division over picking up INC trips but no one bats an eye at picking up extra flying over their vacation at straight pay. If you’re trying to short staff the company there are much more effective ways, don’t be a hypocrite. I have yet to see or hear anything official from ALPA on this and I don’t expect to, just this thread alone is begging for a TRO. We’re letting petty BS divide the group. Keep status quo and let ALPA handle the negotiations. Close the thread.

We’re not begging for a TRO here, but your post is flirting with it. Status quo here has always been that pilots work over their vacation. Status quo has NOT been incentivized trips worth 15 hours (or more) per day. I’m surprised ALPA hasn’t straight up told pilots that the company is violating status quo by doing incentivized trips and requesting us to maintain it by not picking them up. Asking guys just to stay at 70 hours each month is a huge no-no.

Bottom line is there will be not TRO because none of our flights are canceling.

You're high if you think a management friendly NMB is going to release us during a peak travel season. if we don't hear by the end of July I'll start to lose hope.

My post wasn’t suggesting pilots not pick up trips over their vacation and since that obviously hasn’t been the case I hardly see it as flirting with a TRO. The company would have to provide statistical data proving that a change to status quo has occurred to get a TRO, not going to get it there. But that being said it’s all the more reason to close the thread.

Well, in case you haven’t noticed, these guys don’t give a flying freak how this operation runs. THEY DON’T CARE!!!! If you think any sort of campaign or anything will have any affect, think again. You are dealing with a management team who doesn’t care how poorly the operation runs, unless it becomes blatantly obvious that ticket sales are affected! Guess what? As long as the flying public can save $1 per ticket, guess who the flying public will choose? Good ‘ole F9!!! These guys don’t have stock holders that we can scare...So don’t go wiggling your hand in a cobra’s den, because that is what you are being lured into! All these BS troll idiots that are popping up. Do you think they are actually fellow pilots?!? Think again!!!
