Maybe. Lets hope you are right.

I see F9 opening another base (PHL) and the other base staffing levels staying right about where they are (except for Vegas)
It is the "whack a mole" business model. It gives the illusion of growth and expansion but in reality is just a big shuffle of resources.
I guess time will tell.

Do not come to Frontier thinking you will get based in DEN or MCO for any significant amount of time. UAL is running us out of Denver and JB and Spirit are conquering routes and new facilities in MCO. Frontier is a dead end folks.

Aren't most of the new NK routes out of MCO to South America and Caribbean? Stuff we dont really do? I'm not too worried about that right now honestly. Orlando has plenty of lift out of there thanks to the mouse.

Why are y’all still posting in this troll thread. Let it die.

We’re posting because the subject changed... some guy started a weird thread and got lambasted for it... now we’re doing what we’re supposed to do on a b!tch board... speculating on things we have no idea about...

So here’s my speculation on something I have no idea about... I’ll bet Orlando and Vegas just about double in size from where they are now and philly will probably be the next base but not for at least a year and half

I heard talk of the possibility of NK moving operations from FLL to MCO. If you look at all the new routes they just announced out of MCO, they’re mostly Central/South America. Still very little overlap with our route structure. Keeps the merger rumor alive in my mind.

That would be immensely and incredibly expensive... the whole point of the ulcc is to keep costs down... probably why there hasn’t been what would be a semi logical merger between us... and if we do merge, those sju double red eyes would be aggressived by reserves just to avoid Guatemala City and Bogata red eye turns... they can have that turrible turribleness

Everyone will be growing in Orlando because we’re opening a huge brand new international terminal not because people are getting strong armed out of Orlando.

No way that would ever happen. They are anchored there. Plus the population of south Florida is 7 million vs Orlando's 2 million.

Their new MCO routes don't overlap us in any way at all, and you know why...

Nothing better to do when we aren't picking up INC trips I guess.

I don’t see us (I work for NK) shifting our entire operation to MCO. However, with the North runway closure in FLL coming up, some routes may temporarily disappear in FLL and be shifted to MCO (we serve practically the same domestic routes out of MCO as we do to FLL, so connections will be easy), so those coming internationally can filter through MCO and not FLL while they’ll be working on the runway. Just a thought.
