Attrition would nearly stop (save a few retirements) and would offset the additional upgrades from growth in the near term. So it will probably be 3.5-4 years for the foreseeable future even if we did get a contract tomorrow (which will not happen). There will probably be one class of upgrades for the next PHL vacancy that goes more junior, then it’ll bump right back up to the 3.5 - 4 year mark. That’s not impressive at all, go somewhere else that treats their employees with respect (which will not be effected by a new contract).

No it won't. I will be leaving almost no matter what at this point. Unless a buyout or merger happens, I'm going to leave if I get the email. I refuse to be treated like this for the rest of my career.

New contract at this place isn’t going to change much. People still are very motivated to leave because of the treatment we receive on a daily basis. The only hope for a change in pride in this company is the immediate removal of BB and Franke. With pride comes lots of help from employees to make a place great. These 2 have failed to realize this. So a contract will not remedy the complete dysfunction that this place is. They put all this in motion and now we have learned to adapt to the “status quo” and most will not lift a finger to help this company in any way. It’s Fuuking sad really. This place has so much potential but they have to be so greedy instead investing in their number one cost savings group. Oh well. Apps are out. Could upgrade but it’s cutting into my new resume detail.

You are not the only one that feels that way. Anyone who thinks this place will get better after a contract is fooling themselves. The treatment of the labor groups and passengers by Indigo is overwhelmingly atrocious.

So I have heard a 2-2.5 year upgrade to Captain if holding PHL and the new contract is going to increase the pay 40 percent more. If it is true then would def be a step in the right direction for you guys.

I hear you got a December class date. I'm legit scared.

For someone hired today. 5-6 years min. For someone hired 3.5 years ago when we were smaller it is turning out to be 3.5 years. Make sense? You have way more FO's that have to upgrade now before you will see it if hired today. No retirements. You would be better off at a legacy with all those retirements they have.

With his "credentials", I think he should be able to get hired anywhere. At least if no one finds out.
