Question about the AirlineApps --
Under the 'Addendum' section, there is the ability to have a professional recommendation sent:
Professional Recommendation:
Use this link to send a request to anyone wanting to submit a recommendation. You must know their email address. The recommender will be sent a detailed email that provides tools to generate the online recommendation.
I assumed this was designed for Frontier employees to write LORs for applicants, but can this be a professional recommendation from other professional contacts outside the company?

[QUOTE=drivinghome;2870668]They called you already? I guess they aren’t going in order of interview date. Weird. I haven’t gotten a call yet. Interviewed in February.[/
Not really weird as some company’s rank people in the pool by whatever preference HR may have .

My guess is that a Professional Rec from outside the Company won't hold as much weight but it is much better than nothing.

How long does it take to get an e-mail for an interview these days?
Applied when the window opened, I know that is only a month ago, just wondering what is a normal wait time to be acknowledged and how it is being selected. I got the standard 'Our window is currently closed. We received your app and will review it once the window opens.' even though the window was already open.
6000+ Hours
5700+ Jet hours
Boeing 737/777/787 Rating
No noticeable PIC.

Obviously we can't point out a typical, or median new hire. HR in the US dosen't work like that; however, if you were to put the last 50 new hires in a room a throw a brick at someone..
They would most likely have 4 to 5k hours, over 1000 121 PIC and a 4 year degree.
Is there a person without. degree in the room? Yes. No 121 time? yes. No PIC? Probably not.
Regionals are used to seeing ex ME3 777 et al drivers showing up. Get a couple of years 121 and some 121 PIC time under your belt and you're looking great for the LCCs. I know its a box to tick, but a degree is pretty much a must for the legacies. A friend going through indoc at Fedex with a Masters was typical for his class, apparently...
Feel free to PM..
