clearly you missed the entire first paragraph, try reading left to right, top to bottom.

sanicoms don’t work on the virus, nor is there any available. Hence the purell or Clorox ones, and those are good prevention as per cdc. Try educating yourself. Clearly it’s a good idea to mitigate the spread in the cockpit.

Doesn’t matter the reason it appeared...now we all get to deal with it....oh wait it’s Democrat hoax says the orange turd.

I remember a few restrictions in place at the hospital but I only know that because my oldest daughter was born in the middle of it. But here we are.
The scariest thing to me is the new precedent being set anytime we catch wind of a new virus that’s popping up in Mongolia or whatever foreign land. The great USA is the most vulnerable I believe, since 9/11. It’s not good.
The hysteria comes from the absolute trashing of the airline industry in the last couple weeks... we were in the middle of the best time in the history of the airlines... growth, hiring, upgrades, everyone making money... now airlines are slashing schedules... no one wants to fly... I had 105 no shows on my flight this morning... now there’s serious talk of a domestic shutdown, which I’m inclined to believe is a real possibility... how long do you think indigo is going to sit there and bleed money before they say screw it and try hedge their losses?? I don’t know have the slightest clue and the fear of the unknown is, well, frightening... is the government going to help anyone not named delta, Southwest, United or American? I have no clue and thats frightening... this is unprecedented on every level so no one really knows what’s going to happen...

In fairness this exceedingly high rate should come down as more cases are known, and as they get a better handle on the curve so that health care systems are no longer overwhelmed. But even under the most favorable circumstances it's estimated it will remain as high as 0.5%

This disease is far more contagious and by orders of magnitude more deadly than H1N1.

.
The only thing is you can’t quantify those numbers until AFTER it’s over. How can you possibly know how many actually have the virus. You can’t.Especially when the majority show minor symptoms. Even the H1N1 cases were estimates. Unfortunately, those with weakened or compromised immune systems get sick first. China delayed reporting it for two whole months, it’s been in America since late last fall.

Agreed, but the estimates are close enough to know this is WAY worse than H1N1 ever was. This appears to be more inline with 1918 Spanish Flu, but you're right, until it's over, won't know for sure.

I promise BB is licking his chops with all this. F9 is going to come out stronger and better and attack AA etc. Everything lined up to make this very survivable for frontier. No overseas, few business travelers, few repetitive legs, smaller fleet, and already understaffed with a lot of cash.

750 mill does not sound like a lot of cash to survive what may be coming. Or if the airlines end up getting a big bailout it’ll balance the field and we all start from scratch, no one has an advantage. I don’t think anyone knows how this is going to play out.

It’s actually significant. Spirits down to $15 a share now. I wouldn’t be surprised if we bought them when the rebound begins.

This is a good read someone sent me. B6 and AA are in the worst spot.

Of publicly traded airlines, Spirit has the ability to cover their debts better than any other airline (without selling assets). When scaled for size Frontier is in an even better position than that. The great equalizer is that money is available to borrow at near 0% so this chart doesn’t paint the whole picture.

You better check the SAVE ticker...I talked to multiple people last trip that said they bought it at $15 and were all smiles as I cringed. But I agree, this could be the time Indigo buys their old house back.

SAVE is at $11.11 as I type this. What’s their market cap? Anyone know?
