What is this open time thing you guys speak of ?
personally I just work my line and won’t pick up till the last girl or guy is back in the school house. That being said there is no OT out there anyway. Zero
Reserve (for those living in base) I feel is slowly starting to go senior too. Why lift a finger if you can get paid the same to sit at home if they won’t use you anyway.

At the very top of the list in this newly found method of “not furloughing” people should have been a credit cap, period.

Just wanted to leave this here, in our email from the union this evening
Depending on senior First Officer Master Bid preferences, there is a possibility that some senior First Officers would be displaced to the left seat
DISPLACEMENT BIDS
“DISPLACEMENT” or “DISPLACED” means that a Pilot no longer has sufficient seniority to hold his current Position.
Apparently some FO's are so senior they can't hold FO anymore, have to be CA's

I can’t even fathom anyone crediting more than 75 hours even remotely thinking it is acceptable. Call it whatever you want, it’s a furlough, and should be treated as such. The company wants a large chunk of pilots on the streets, what message does it send to help them out by crediting 100 plus?? It’s the definition of insanity. I could even argue the ELS guys shouldn’t even pick up trips, but it’s the only way to make a few bucks for some and lines are being built well above 75.
Maybe this is off base as I’ve never been through a situation like this...but shouldn’t the union be communicating the rules of engagement for this situation, ie it is HIGHLY recommend to stick to 75 etc. ???

Isn't this and other quotes preaching of not picking up OT or threatening other's if they do the kind of thing that got Spirit pilots/Union threatened w/ a lawsuit for not adhering to the status quo? All management had to do was go read these forums, present it to a judge and get a lawsuit going.
