If delta is roughly 14,500 pilots and frontier 1600, delta is 9 times larger than frontier. If delta is burning 18mil a day, that would mean frontier would need to burn 2, not 1mil to be using cash at a similar rate.
If you were burning 500k, that would be bad. Using the same analysis delta is 14,500 times larger than you. A comparable burn rate would be $1,241/day for you, or $625/day if you were eating cash like frontier.

Where do you find this info being frontier is a private company? Is it DOT reports or is just what other pilots are saying in the crew rooms?

$1b in cash came from BB’s latest video along with an assessment he made that Frontier is in a better position on a cost basis relative to other airlines due to the lower debt burden acquired during the pandemic. In other words, the gap between our costs vs the other airlines is wider than pre-pandemic.
Not sure what the cash burn per day source is.

It's not very easy to find the info, but it is public.
here's Frontier: https://www.transtats.bts.gov/carriers.asp?pn=1
BL is telling ground school classes that we have nearly 1 B in the bank and burning just under 1 M a day.
For comparison, United is losing 25 M a day.

I would say that a fair comparison would be that United is burning thru 2.5x as much money as us relative to our sizes (ual being roughly 10x bigger than us)

I realize that these types of people are the minority, but it's really amazing how some pilot's "legacy egos" are so large and fragile that they refuse to believe or admit that a lowly ULCC could be performing better than their beloved behemoth legacy. It's ironic that we are told that we're living in a fantasy land when they are living in such a world of denial. MOST pilots should be happy to see that an airline or two is hanging in there without the fear of total collapse...regardless of said airline's position on the "ego scale". I swear, pilots like this probably honestly believe that the protections laws on THEIR Airbus are set to "expert mode" while all the ones at ULCCs are set to "beginner".
