Fellow Aviators,
I left a post on the In Memoriam section of the Forums and I wanted to make sure that you all saw it.. After a valiant and extended battle with cancer, F/O Andy Glendenning passed away today. He leaves behind a grieving Wife and two daughters, 5 and 2. I am sure that the MEC has programs set up for such tragedies, but his Wife would really appreciate hearing from some of his F9 peeps. I am guessing that a GoFundme account will be set up for his medical expenses and for his daughters.
As you all take to the skies, I ask that you keep Andy and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Absolutely horrible news. Didn't know Andy, but to hear of a young guy passing on, leaving a wife and young children breaks my heart. If you come across the link to his GoFundMe, will you please post it here?
Thanks for letting us know, B727DRVR.
And to the prospective new hires yapping about times, quals, etc.. Give it a rest for a day or two and don't bury this thread too far down the list. Show a little respect and maybe offer a condolence.

Truly a sad couple of weeks for the Frontier pilot group. I didn’t know Andy, and a situation like that is horrible for anyone, but a quick glance at the seniority list shows he was far, far too young to be lost. Hopefully his family will be able to find peace. Please post any updates on financial support.

I knew Andy from a previous company (Avantair). He was a great guy and will be missed by many. Can someone keep me posted on what his Frontier brothers and sisters are doing in his memory please? DM me details as I would like to contribute

I knew Andy as a fellow FO at the F9 ORD base, and can say without hesitation that he was a very genial and kind guy. I was stunned when I heard he was very sick, but he went out of his way to share his gratitude for his lovely family and his life. We will remember you, Kevin.

I haven’t seen a gofundme yet but this is a fundraiser set up for his family. Must order by 7/2.
