Default Meet the Chiefs Miami

F9 has a meet the chiefs event coming up in mid January in Miami. I've heard these typically do you good. I'm R-ATP eligible (1,000TT) with +1,100TT and growing. Would it be worth it to go to the event? I have no airline experience, just flight instructing experience. I know they hire at R-ATP mins, but usually only inside their programs with certain schools with rare external exceptions. Again, worth going? Or will I be a laughing stock around there? Also, do they sponsor ATP-CTP?

Yes, GO if you can. They have hired without ATPs in the past, but you need to get it yourself.

Worst they can say is no. But showing interest s always good.

You may be the laughing stock but they may just give you the invite. Make sure airlineapps is completed before you attend.

It's worth going at a minimum just to check it out and get the feel of what these events are like. The possibility of getting hired is there. You don't catch any fish if your line isn't in the water so check it out and if you don't get a bite the next time you go to one these things you will be that much better at it and probably will get hired.

Default I’m going

Didn’t put much thought into getting a ticket and at the very least can see what Frontier is about. I’m only an 800 hour cfi under no illusion that I can bypass the regionals. Just think it’s a good networking possibility and who knows what could come of it.
