no it won’t be. People who have bypassed will now jump on this small class. If they don’t get their 💩 together in the palace we will be 4+ year upgrade.

F9 refuses or is unable to grow base sizes. They have to grow the number of bases to have upgrades and big classes. We're apparently full in the bases, and no new ones are opening, so here we are. Also, the mostly usual slow down over the summer is here.

From speaking with an LCA the other day. We are currently over staffed and the reserves aren’t flying much. - at least captains. This is supposedly due to the slow down with the Airbus deliveries. F9’has also trimmed the summer schedule due to the lack of A/C seats. I confirmed this with the April open time in LAS. Only 2 janky trips in opentime for entire April ! However if you ask a union guy they say they can’t staff the airline. So idk 🤷♂️ ?

reserves arent flying enough........ sounds like what reserves are for. I only flew like 6 times the last couple months, its been pretty nice. But when I get called, I am walking into a Sh**show. not to mention there is hardly any premium being offered as well, not sure how you can justify needing to use reserves more instead of offering more premium so you have the reserves for actual flights you cannot staff.

Eh…
Airbus is “conveniently” having engine integration problems on our NEOs. Keep in mind that other airlines are having their NEOs (diff engines I presume) delivered.
We are still losing people. The inevitable is either a change to keep people or stagnation / I’ll assume that we will stagnate first (as it will ensure the greatest amount of savings/profit realized). Along the way, every trick in the book will be tried - to no avail - to try and curtail attrition.
