Reserve Questions
#11
But I’ve been ringing this bell since day 1 at my regional. No one cares about reserves. They grin and bear and get a line (or leave). Those that stick around forget about it, or feel like they’d “waste negotiating capital” on better reserve rules.

Thats what I’ve been saying since day 1. Make RSV a 5hr min, not 4. 15x5=75. Perfect.

he is doing the same thing this time. His comment every time someone ask about a new work rule is “what will you give up for that”. Seriously?!? The market is for the first time in decades in our favor. The company doesn’t have anything on us. Retirements don’t hit the peek for another 1-1.5 years which means hiring at the legacies isn’t stopping soon.
unfortunately our only option will probably be to vote no on the first offer the NC brings us, because it will be subpar. Then get a new NC, like we already tried to do.

our current NC will not do anything for reserve. The last contract he said you shouldn’t want to be on reserves. And he would NOT use negotiating capital on res.

12 days off is a joke. That’s regional stuff. Btw, our contract currently doesn’t even say we have 12 days off. It’s not in the cba.
