It's a foolish perspective that reflects your willingness to accept a substandard contract, and adds nothing of value to the discussion.

Working at F9 is better than flipping burgers at mcdonalds too; that doesn't mean fast food employee compensation is a relevant benchmark in the discussion

Thanks, for splaining to a fairly senior captain about what I am owed and what perspective I should have. Too bad you couldn’t have been here for all that time to keep me grounded and understanding during the bankruptcy, pending seniority list integration, 10 yr right seat lock, furloughs, downgrades, displacements, and overall loss of respect for the company we loved and worked so hard for.
