Complacency is definitely a problem with the older guys that I’ve seen with my experiences in the past. But that’s not all of them.

So needlessly dramatic. This has been done many times before, every year young, low time pilots are becoming PICs in numerous types, to include 737s, A320s, regional jets, etc.

I don't think its dramatic at all. We are sending these new guys into challenging airports with 3 page memos and some pictures while they are at the worst performing point of their circadian rhythm. It isn't like they get a sim check and session dedicated to teaching them the issues and awareness for the airport or route.

People do worse with less support. I think it is very much dramatic. RJ captains fly into challenging places just the same, do standups, etc.

COVID hires calling others out for a lack of experience...gold.

I'm doing more than fine, thanks for asking.

Same team fellas... It's up to us as the pilot group to grow and help each other develop. It's up to the training department to train and hold the standard. So, grow where and when you can, and let the check airmen do their job.

The individual you quoted does not work at F9, and does nothing but add ******* to this forum and somehow gets a free pass to do so.
