I dont think they were given their bases yet. I believe they will get theirs in Jan's bid. Since they started on the 16th, they went, then came back, usually you get your first base bid the next month iirc.

But for reference, you can look midway down this page to see the junior base stats, but it hasn't been updated in a month. https://www.fftpilots.com/first-officers/

Thanks! I know, and I saw it hadn't been updated in a while. Thats why I thought I'd ask if anyone here knew anything...
Ah, so base is not allocated during indoc? How will they know what they bid for then?

It is during indoc and they probably know but without one of them telling us we can’t say until the updated seniority list comes out with their award.

This. Usually in training you will bid twice. once in indoc, another during sims. or so.

I am not sure how it happens now, but previously you submit your base bid during day 2-3 and then find out that week what ya end up with.

Per 1-1-25 Senority List December 16th new hires got

DEN 7
DFW 8
LAS 6
SJU 3
CHI 4
CLE 5
CVG 3

Most senior was DEN and most junior was CLE.

thanks for that! How often can you bid a new base if you’re not happy with the one you’re at? Can you “try” different bases?

We have a base trade ability every quarter. But every month we bring in a new class you have the ability to bid for a new base. So basically every month currently.

Yes you can there is a delay though. Example: We just had a base bid that closed Dec 23rd. The effective date is April 1. So you would have to wait until April to see if you like it. By that time the next base bid effective date would be around August (maybe). So you could be stuck there for a few months if you don’t like it. This is also assuming a spot opens on a base you are interested in. There is no guarantee of that happening.

Before they opened all these bases many of them now OT is anlmost impossible. Travel benefits are subpar at best. Training is training they do the job show up prepared you won’t have any problems. Show up unprepared and well you won’t last long. Welcome to 121.
