What is it at F9 that you can't get at some other airline (that pays more, has greater 401k company input, better LTD, cheaper healthcare, better reserve rules and better travel benefits for you/family) right now?

For me specifically, home based, 15+ days off, minimum overnights (now that i upgraded almost a year ago), everything else is just a new contract...Originally Posted by dracir1

No other airline can offer the my current QOL that I have in the base I am in without a few years of seniority to even touch much of a day turn, especially on a bus. Wife and I want kids soon, so my QOL is a top priority and it isn't in the cards to move to a legacy and train, commute to reserve, possible terrible base on an airframe with no home base, etc right now unless it happened NOW.
Both my wife and I do enjoy what Frontier offers and the animals on the tails along with the environmentally friendly part of it. But like she said, "They need to lean into it harder and have an identity" because right now, tbh, we dont. We are "americas greenest airline" "americas low fare airline" "low fares done right"and whatever else the company decides.
But yes, TLDR- Where I am currently (CA under 30, which is what I originally wanted and told the CP when i did my MTC back in 2021), turns, lots of time off, seniority for the current place my family is in. We all know most of people's gripes would be fixed with a contract.
And yeah, to Jack's point, I am just a clueless 20yo.

You can do that at United too. And make about $100/hr more...I'm sure you knew that. So, you really didn't answer the question.Originally Posted by JackTheTipper

Frontier has lost almost 200m this year. Negative 8% margins when Barry was forecasting Double digit margins.
I would blame tariffs but UAL and DAL have been a been able to hit their margin goals. Seems more like a business model failing before our eyes kind of issues.
Basic economy is putting the ULCC’s out of business. Frontier is about a year or two behind spirit on the road to Chapter 11.
The Max 10’s certification in 2026 might be the final nail in the coffin Kirby needs.
