What gives you that vibe? Genuinely asking because there are only a few options when passing or around another pilot: nod, smile, say hi, do nothing, etc. I may do any of those things even if passing a pilot from my own airline depending on the situation, how I’m feeling, etc. What if an RJ pilot would act the same as a legacy pilot that gave you a superiority vibe. Would you feel it’s a superiority thing?

If you want an honest answer…. Some people aren’t satisfied working at Frontier and wish they worked at a more prestigious airline. The most dreaded question they get asked is “who do you fly for.” These feelings of inadequacy are what make them feel like Legacy airline pilots give off that vibe when walking through airports. It’s nonsense.
For my part, I love flying here and giving you a professional nod of acknowledgment.

It’s a joke…. Why so serious? You’re giving off “that vibe.”

But, most people, probably a super majority, don’t tie their identities to their company. You don’t hear the baristas fighting it out at DD vs. Starbucks.
i know you believe hard in the “Airline hierarchy”, but most people really don’t care about us or who we fly for. They only care when sht is F’d up.
You tell most people you’re a pilot for a no legacy they just think it’s cool, and then move on with their lives.
