There’s really no scale. Frontier would grow to the size spirit was when the first merger was announced. It really just elimination of capacity from the market not really scale.
What does Frontier moving its earnings call have to do with anything Soirit? Does it make any difference when they report

Maybe, maybe not… why do guys have such a hard on for us purchasing Spirit? Does anyone look at the seniority? Unless your f’n super senior here our integration is probably going to suck a$$ for the sub ten year guys. We can argue well they are going out of business blah blah but ALPA has pretty clear M&A language.
However, if we do, we will do very well in the seniority integration process. With all the furlough and downgrades they have suffered, we will do very well in that integration.

The rest of the financial world disagrees with you. ULCC was -8% today. Previously the stock has jumped when they suspected a merger. Today’s stock performance doesn’t scream confidence.

Ya I don’t see how people think we wouldn’t do well. It’s not straight DOH. RS and career expectations would **** off every Spirit pilot. New hires would be placed next to former captain 2020 hires at Spirit. It would be devastating for them.

The ALPA policy involves DOH, RS, and career expectations and a hope to make it fair and equitable.
It won’t be straight DOH because of what happened to TWA/AA and would burn 80% of Frontier pilots. It won’t be straight RS because that would burn 80% of the spirit pilots. So it would be a blend with career expectations taken into account. An arbitrator would decide. Our pilot groups are almost the same size now. There’s not a chance a bottom of the list spirit pilot gets placed above 50% of the F9 pilot group. Not going to happen.
All doesn’t matter anyway because attrition at both companies is likely to be sky high and this assumes a merger of which the SLI would be years away. You’ll be fine. Just keep applying to United.

Even if NK pilots were below a lot of F9 pilots, I think they would be happier to have a job than anything.
But I still don't think we are merging, but we will see. We have our earnings coming up and we have the rest of the year coming with hiring, new planes, and our new interiors, ramping up flying in certain bases and hopefully getting better. (Hopeful is a keyword)
At this point, I just want a 2 year contract length with MRA/snap up every consecutive year

Agreed, NK management announced a further (approx) 365 furloughs to be effective Q1 2026. Bid will open November. That should significantly help F9 pilots in the event of an SLI.
