I was literally sitting at my computer early this morning paying quarterly taxes and saw the email come in for a premium trip out of MCO. Just out of curiosity, I went to the premium folder to see if the trip was available and it was already gone. So, either a bot picked it up or someone was watching FLICA at 7AM on a Saturday morning. I'm very rarely in a position to pick up something that quick but was a little concerned how fast the trip was gone. Someone either had a bot or nothing better to do at 7AM on a Saturday morning. I would say both are a little concerning.

I had a similar instance while out on a trip sometime ago. I had an early east coast show and was looking around in open time when a trip dropped at 3AM home base time. I was in the folder and I lost. Ummmm.

Anyway, hope their tires are flat everyday.

They must be seriously convinced they won’t get caught, or if they do, they will suffer no consequence.

Correct. Until CD makes an example out of one of them they will continue to do it. He is all talk at this point.

you realize it can be minutes between the trip going to the PAF and the email going out. Of course it’s gone by then. It’s not hard to get a PAF if you use crew trac. Person was probably in the PAF in flicca refreshing between bases when it came out. Also probably using crew trac so they only had to be in flicca refreshing for a few min

Wow, the stuff you guys go through to still make less than legacy pilots make. It’s weird.

Some guys make sure they pick up all the OT possible, fly around the system, sleep in hotels, rest in crew rooms, have spreadsheets for reserves to see where premium will likely drop and they will "position" themselves in that base.

All to make about legacy rates, ie- rates we would have with a new contract.

Oh, lets not talk about the guy who averages about 20 premiums a month though... He made well over 65k his last month flying all over the system.
