50 ft was just a number to make a point. I actually don’t want to speculate about what happened. I don’t think it’s fair to those guys. All I was trying to say is that I am not sure you want to be taking the controls from a captain at a low altitude unless there is clearly something physically wrong with them and you are about to be in a non desired state.

Frontier is an airline that very much defers to the captain and a pilot group that treated FOs as dim-witted seat warmers. Furthermore never trained for takeover, which to me is borderline criminal in a 121 company. So you’re asking the FO to do something split-second, that you have never trained for, that if the FO’s judgement was wrong could result in admonishment for “overriding” the Captain, at extremely low altitude?
You guys are a crock. So angry and obsessed over folks that pick up premium before you can that you’re looking for every opportunity to ruin their careers.
This part of the pilot group is a complete joke and I’m so happy to be at a legacy as a result. 99% of the premium grabbers did/do so with the same tools anyone else can, and no bots. You are pathetic.
Maybe wait for the investigation (if there is one) or company info to come out instead of making WILD baseless accusations.
