Have you seen the picture of it?
It Looks like blender with the lid off. The black main fan is completely gone and possibly a compressor turbine or two as well behind it. Looks like one of the compression sections is still sitting in the bottom of the engine. Normally we can see as far back as the black nonfrangible area abut now we can see as far back as double that distance. I would be surprised if they can salvage any parts off of the engine. Front section of the cowling is also toast.
Im curious what insurance will cover? Engine, cowling, slides, aircraft down time, rebooking,…?
