FFO1012 - Frontier Airlines Pilot job - Frontier Airlines - United States | Indeed.com

Still shows the May window on their website, unless I'm missing something...

I assumed it was a new window since they had that posting yesterday, sorry if it's not.

From what I've heard If you have the mins and get an interview they take or pass on you based on personality and fit.

Fit seems to be very highly dependent on if they think you're going to bail for a Legacy. I interviewed in June, and thought it went great! But I was grilled hard in the final CP interview about my other apps out to United/Delta. It really is the only thing I can think of that caused them to send me the TBNT letter.

So to any future hopefuls, make sure you think about what you'll say when they ask about other apps. I honestly don't even know what I'd say differently...

I second that and I have a few posts out there already detailing that info from when I interviewed there back in May.

Hmm..not sure. Maybe it's a new posting, but they didn't change the date on the listing.

You had some great posts, and I reviewed them before my interview. I was honest (like you). It either works for them or doesn't! ;)

What a refreshing and informative thread - thanks everyone for the information and advice.

Does it matter if my cover letter has a generic salutation, or is there a particular individual to whom it should be addressed?

What's your advice about addressing the "other applications" question on the interview? I have several applications out and ultimately want a major job, but I don't want to make Frontier seem like a stepping stone. How have those of you with aspirations for the majors answered that question and gotten the offer?

In regard to the question of other application or other airlines, it is a difficult issue. Frontier wants to hire people who are going to stay here. It costs too much money to train new pilots to then loose them to United a year later.

I really like the new look. Much better than the entire website plastered on the side.

I think it looks fantastic without being over-the-top. Pays homage to the old Frontier while maintaining the animal brand identity; surprisingly it goes well together.
