Frontier Hiring.

The point I was making is: don't get yourself in the golden handcuffs. Expect and plan for a pay cut on the first year.

Are we serious guys? I've made one post to initiate things which included several candid questions out of genuine interest. Additionally, a follow up to some "bro" who didn't like my statement that EVEN as a first officer, I'd take a pay cut…Usually it's a pay cut from the left seat to the right seat of an airbus. Finally, to state I'm at SKW was just implying it's not a bad place to be as a CA, financially. Look, I was just interested in getting some answers to questions MANY people have who just read your posts (which I have, yes all 200+ pgs) and fear posting because of your replies lol…Perhaps because I was curious of "updated" information not info from 2011. Anyway, sure do appreciate the respectful replies, genuinely interested guy here, thank yous.

I don't know what it will be. Everyone knows Frontier is behind the pay curve. I was making a point. I could have used their current pay scale and still made my point. Virgin America year 3 is $168 as a CA, and $98 as an FO. One has got to assume it will be at least that much in the next contract.

I think if someone is close to upgrading at SKW they should do it and not go to Frontier as an FO-FO move. Get the PIC time and experience and apply at the Big 3. Unless of course one wants to give a career at F9 a shot. Then by all means go for it. Used to be that F9 wouldnt look at you if you didnt have some turbine PIC. Obviously times have changed.

All of this is because HR has their heads firmly up their booties. Pathetic, and way to take responsibility for their egregious screw up. Once you're past the HR debacle, this is actually a pretty good place to be. I do wish we had an HR department with a clue, though.

Got the same sort of email from jetBlue last year... Don't understand why you people get your knickers in a twist, just because it's frontier.

No twisted knickers, just déjà vu with this HR department. Don't know about other airlines, but it doesn't seem too hard for HR to just do its job.

If you were at OBAP in Vegas, and we told you to expect a phone call, you're right where you need to be. You should be getting a call soon. (I think the May interview dates are full now, so it'll likely be June or later before you interview.)
