Yes I did, I just assumed it went to everyone that had an app on file since they have not sold enough tickets yet to the job fair.

I also got the invite letter to the job fair. I hope it means something but they may just send it to everyone with a current resume. If anyone knows for sure I would love to hear what you know. In the email they mention "purchasing a ticket to interview with Frontier". Are they actually going to be interviewing there? I was picturing this more as a meet and greet hopefully leading to an interview. This is my first job fair so if anyone has anything I should know please pass it along.

The email I received said nothing about buying a ticket to interview. Are you sure that is what yours said?

If you're talking about the Aero Crew Solutions fairs there's a General Admission ticket, and tickets specifically for Frontier and/or Spirit. If all you bought was the former, you'd be SOL to talk with F9 or NK.

Do not approach a contract with your mindset or you will fail. I believe Frontier is in a position to get a fair contract for the employee's and let the company profit.
Because all the things you just listed do not equate to leverage for a pilot group. Leverage is when you have something they need so they are forced to give. They've made more money in the previous year than the previous decade so the fantasy that some of our group spreads about our contract not working well-enough for this new model is just that. Fantasy. It's an outstanding contract in corporate's eyes. And hey, if there's something in the CBA that hasn't worked for them they've simply not complied with it. Do you know what our recourse is for that? Fly it anyway and grieve it later. Maybe you'll get an extra day off or some cash in a year for it. Either way the entire system, from the NMB process to the way contract compliance works, is shifted greatly in the a company's favor. The only leverage we'll have is when/if the NMB finally decides we're at an impasse. That usually takes years.

I did as well and I'm on the NK seniority list and politely declined an F9 interview over six months ago.

FYI -- According to Aerocrew's website Frontier is the only company doing the take a number for the Denver job fair. It says Spirit will only be collecting resume's. None of the Legacies will be there as of right now. Tickets are $124 if you buy it by the 14th and $144 after. Maybe they haven't sold all the tickets which is why they are sending the emails out? Just go to Aerocrews website and you will see the list of airlines attending.
