Frontier Hiring.

I kinda feel we have some leverage since they want to IPO us. All the major labor groups will be in negotiations next year which can't be good with maxmizing value of the IPO. IF I was an investor I would want transparency with the future costs, not a bunch of unknowns. I could be smoking crack though.

May I ask those of you who've gotten a call for an interview what your times are? Im sure its been addressed further back in the thread but I couldn't find it.
I wanna go to the Denver fair but I don't wanna waste my time and money if I'm not gonna fit the profile they're looking for right now.

Unfortunately, I agree.
Stock investors read articles in the Wall Street Journal and the like to decide if a stock is worth buying. When the IPO is coming, there will be numerous articles written about Frontier. They will talk about the ULCC market, the transition to the ULCC model, the reduced costs, increased profits. It'll highlight the similarities with Spirit and how much money they have made. Thats about it. Having ready many articles in financial journals, I really don't see the pilot contract even being mentioned... and if it is it'll be one sentence saying the pilots at Frontier are the lowest paid in the industry, and contract negotiations are expected to last for years...
Our contract will have virtually no effect on the stock price. This contract will drag on for years. Its just the reality of it. It doesn't mean we wont ever get a contract, it doesn't mean that it will be a bad one. The IPO and the pilot contract are not dependent on each other.

Britany757,
We've worked with plenty of successful F9 candidates with multiple checkride failures and everything in between. As stated by the above poster, it doesn't matter. Once invited to the interview, it's your job to lose. It's all about how you present yourself, talk about your past failures and bring positive light to any negative situation moving forward in your career.
