It was the campaign manager, not Rubio. All you had to do was just read the first paragraph to know it wasn't him.

I realize its the same order. The way I read the article is that they sold the airplanes to GE finance and leased them back before the first one was even delivered and they renegotiated 319 leases.

I get the liability and leveraging stuff, but I understand this type of financial move about as well as I understand female logic.
Why else would they make this shift in ownership? Any explanation will be appreciated.

Indigo got on Airbus's order books using their own credit and cash. Now, with good interest rates (I assume - these guys don't move a muscle if it doesn't benefit them financially) they did this.

It's just a sale / lease-back transaction to put cash back in their pockets but have use of the shells with "no money down and low low monthly payments." Now they're playing with house money and putting their own cash to better use elsewhere.

Franke may or may not have cracked the airline code, but private equity KNOWS how to make money off of other people's money.

Default Best luggage for the Airbus.

Getting ready to start with Frontier in December!! Super stoked. As it would be my luggage just bit it! Wanting to make sure I get the best for the Airbus, I'm looking for any and all recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Literally anything with decent wheels. TravelPro is just fine.

No recommendations, mostly because I'll be there with you. Congrats and see you in class!

Check out Costco on line. They have a carry on bag that comes highly recommended by line pilots. Currently in class. YMMV.

There's really nothing special about the Airbus that would call for a specific bag. Plenty of room for whatever you choose.

A bunch of us have the heavy duty Luggage Works bags, myself included. I'm thinking I'll go for a lighter weight bag whenever I find one I like. The LW behemoth served me well when we had to hang a 30 lb. flight case off the LW bag strap, but now that we're carrying iPads I'm having a hard time justifying the extra weight of the Luggage Works monster. I think a more standard roller suitcase would be more than adequate and might be just the ticket to keep me from straining my aging back.

Just my opinion. Really, anything will be fine.
