I get the sentiment. But I do think you are crapping on your brothers needlessly.
Think about it. I have not been hired at DL, UAL, AA. So, by sticking around the regionals, by your logic, I am supporting higher wages? Your statement does not add up.
If you have been hired at a legacy, that is great, and I send my congratulations. We're all (or at least most) trying to get there. No need to bag on us who took what we could to ditch the regionals.

I'm sorry if I sounded like I was putting you or others who work at Frontier down, that was not my intention. I am upset that Frontier does not pay its pilots more. When I wrote guys and girls keeping the bar low, I meant for that to be more directed at the management, not the pilot group. To make matters worse, they try and trap people there with that stupid training agreement. I can't wait for the day that these places will be handing out 20,000 dollar bonuses. It's already happening at the regionals.

This regional airline should be the very bottom of anyone's list.
If you can't get to any of the legacy, SWA, JB, and other others, milk this company dry then move on to an airline that's worth deserving of your career. Used it them and move on.
F9 pay is abysmal and makes you sign a contract.
Do you really want to spend your entire life working for this bottom feeder?

And make sure that the Interview Prep company includes a grammar checking service for your resume. Otherwise, I'm not sure they would be 'worth deserving' of your money.

We have a training contract because unfortunately we are still plagued by that nuisance known as 'management'.

Training Contract because newbies are leaving and getting hired on with a much suitable legacy/airline. Like I said, milk them and move on.
There are so many in the current list that were/are found undesirable by the legacies, no PIC because they came from the likes of Great Mistakes and Lynx, and some have spotty record.
They are your great defenders in this board because they are just plain stuck/lifers.

Throughout this thread several times it has been mentioned of training contracts, whether first heard during the interview or in class. Yet no one has said anything of actually signing one. I would think the contract would have to be signed for it to exist. Has anyone signed one?

Anyone from later classes experience multiple classmates quitting?
Please don't get me wrong, I fault no man/woman for doing what is in their best interest. And I don't disagree with the premise of the quote above. I'd just like to know how bad the bleeding is because it seems like a training contract is going to have a very real set of negative consequences in its own right.
