And so is Republic. What's the point? He made an error in his explanation on an an anonymous message board? I think he meant Legacy.
The group who are told to reapply in six months are those the interviewers believe- for whatever reason- will jump ship for greener pastures at their earliest opportunity. Reapply in six if you're still interested.

Actually, to arm chair quarterback a little, (no offence intended - I could be wrong), I wonder if mentioning QOL as a reason for not leaving for a legacy wouldn't be viewed negatively in just about every respect by everyone on the panel these days.
Believe me - ALL I care about is QOL! My pay is a distant second. But to 'hard chargers' I'm certain QOL is viewed as a life sucking drain on the bottom line.
And on the other side of the coin, especially with all the changes: Flying tons of redeyes, Denver downsizing, east-coast ops, decreased efficiency, less days off etc. I think juxtaposing F9 with a Legacy and using QOL as the defining factor could come off as a little tone deaf to the good hearted line pilot sitting on your panel.
I personally wouldn't go near that term in an interview but that's just me.

For those that have been told to try again in 6 months... Does that mean completely reapply or maybe have someone walk in your stuff at the 6month mark. I was thinking to probably see them at a job fair event before the 6 months are up.

There are 13 people on the most current seniority list, between the most junior pilot awarded CA, and the most senior 9/2013 DOH pilot, (so 14 away from upgrade). Semantics though, it's still good. Upgrade is coming down fast! So long as Senior FOs keep bypassing that is. kspilot is right in that you probably were looking at the DEN FO or CHI FO list in the vacancy, instead of ALL pilots, or the actual seniority list. That would explain the discrepency you are seeing.
