Default Sale of Frontier finalized

As of today there are no longer any ties (financial, operational, etc) between F9 and RAH...

Great news for the future of Frontier. I believe that Frontier will be able to be even more competitive in DEN against United and SW. I wonder how Franke will differentiate Frontier from Spirit? I doubt he will do a copy cat airline with a different paint job, but who knows?

Frontier needed this badly. Cutting ties to RAH will allow Frontier to move forward. Indigo will inject some money into the airline, grow it into new markets and offer a great alternative to SWA. Hopefully there will be growth and a steady stream of new pilots getting hired. So far I have loved working for Frontier. Wonderful group of people at this airline.

Unfortunately, F9 will never be able to compete with SWA. F/As hawking everything under the sun and selling sodas won't fly with DEN passengers.

Has Wal-Mart made it to Denver? Thought so.

...as evidenced by record load factors for over a year. Seems to be "flying" just fine, but thanks for your expert analysis.
